Ali is a bubbly, bright personality. People tend to describe her as extroverted and lighthearted. When Ali isn't in the salon or helping others with harm reduction in the DTES, she is camping, attempting bad karaoke or hanging at home with her cats Queso and Tortilla while making soup and watching trashy reality tv.

Ali grew up on Vancouver Island, camping, fishing and sitting on beaches counting jellyfish and wishing she was Ariel from The Little Mermaid. With only one hair salon in her small town, she took the duty of attempting (doing herbest) to cut and colour all of her friend's hair from a young age. Before that she was butchering her barbies, and it was clear the path she was going to take in life.

Ali has now been doing hair for 11+ years, specializing in tight fades, crispy bobs and hair so bright you will glow in the dark. Ali believes no matter who you are, what you are or where you come from, you deserve love and to feel gorgeous.
